Loyet Motorsports Sweeps Weekend in Dodge City, KS

May 24th, 2010 (ST. LOUIS, MO) -- Loyet Motorsports made the long haul to Dodge City, KS to compete in the High Plains Shootout over the weekend. On Friday night Brad would take home the heat race win leading every lap which would put him into a fast dash. In the fast dash Brad would run second behind Keith Rauch in the four lap shootout. This would put Loyet on the front row outside for the 30 lap feature. For the first half of the race Brad would work the low line on a used up dry track behind Keith Rauch before taking over the lead on lap 16 when Rauch's motor let go. Brad would then go unchallenged for the preliminary win of the high plains shootout.
On Saturday Brad would once again win the heat race from the front row outside and lead every lap. In the fast dash Brad would start on the front row outside and jumped into the lead when the green flag dropped and didnt look back taking the second win of the night with just one race to go. The championship feature of the high plains shootout was another 30 lap feature. Starting from the pole Brad would utilize the low line early on before a hard charging Matt Sherrell showed Brad that the rubber was being laid down up on the track. Brad would move up on the race track and started to pull away once again. Brad would lead every lap of the feature to capture his third win of the night and sweep the weekend with two feature wins.
